Very expensive 80g/s?

Be interesting to see if it goes within that range.

May be time to get mine cleaned up and repainted :augie

Should that g/s have the windshield…… thought that was later?

Shush guys

I’ve used this advert to justify to Mrs S that my project is worth investing in

It’s a nicely done build.

But they won’t get their costs back, especially factoring in labour time.

Both g/s and g/s pd look great….. but so clean that if I owned them I would be afraid to ride them in case they got dirty, scratched, bashed etc…..

But if I won the lottery, I would still want one of them in my garage, for use on good weather days only.

Would be even better if I knew they were touched by mikeyboy’s brilliance…….

I saw the bikes at Shuttleworth on Saturday, the day before the auction. They are absolutely spotless, I mean totally as new. Goodness knows how much they cost to get to that state. Lovely, but if I owned such a spotless classic I’d never ride it.

My old g/s I thumped around Salisbury Plain and other off-road trips at UKGSer events. I’d never do that with one of those at that price, so what’s the point?
