No idea... Interesting mod. though.

I guess the Bings are cheaper and more easily available than Dell'orto's...

BMW run either Dells or Bings , why not Guzzi too

My Guzzi Cali 3. Dellortos. high 40s / low 50s mpg, wherever / however i ride it.
EVERY effing BMW i've had; bings. never ever got better than low 30s in town riding.
spent a lot of time and even some money too trying to solve this riddle.
Never did.
Dellortos = good.
bings = shite.

LeMan II and a G5 both did 50/55mpg...two R100gs' 40mpg However my 75/6 did 55 and my 90/6 50. When the silvering on the Leman headlamp went I fitted one from a Fiat.
