That V 12 is smoking a bit but an engineering work of art.
I would have rather seen the effort go into something really unusual like a blown X format 2 stroke with 4 or 8 cylinders. Or even a mini deltic layout with gearbox inside the three cylinder banks. Transmission - how about a scaled up Sturmey Archer/Rohloff gearbox (frame not wheel mounted).
OK, maybe 14 gears is overdoing it but with a large numbers of ratios its almost like a CVT.

The throttle on the CBX seems to work the 'wrong' way
