OEM Light Guard ditched.

If you ride at night and you have an OEM light guard fitted try taking it off, it destroys the power, spread and adds reflection. :rob

Sounds much better to leave it on to keep the power and spread and not have a reflection.
 
Is it easy to remove?

And why is it there in the first place, I was thinking it may be so you don't dazzle oncoming drivers and cause them to wipe you out in a head on collision.
 
The Touratech thing for BMW does the same job but has glare shield. Clean & polish the plastic with Xeropol helps and horizontal polarising film might help.

TBH the Tenere jobbie looks fugly
