I have some side to side play on the rotor shaft on my distributor of the BS A, which is making the timing harder to set.

Does anyone have any experience in re bushing these dizzys.
There is a chap on the internet "distributor doctor" but currently he is busy with a five week leadtime.

Thanks in advance

steve

Just an update on this , gave up on pre owned same shit different day. Contacted the Distributor Doctor

http://www.distributordoctor.com

He does nothing but recondition dizzies. So the bad news, not only was my distributor not bushed, but the advance and retard cam had come loose. Dis D sent the barrel for horizontal milling , fitted bushes , repaired the cam, returned the distributor with a graph hand filled in showing the advance sequence by speed.

After exchanging £225 Fitted said distributor and the bike has never run better.

Yes Im sure I could have found a NOS one for this but i tried.
Highly recommended

Steve
