DOLOMITES

Hi everyone
I have not had any time this year to plan my bike trip. So I have booked a ferry to Le Havre and will be heading to the Dolomites. If the weather forcast is not good them I will head southwards to Italy or France. I am really not fussed as long as I have some good roads during the day and beer in the evenings. Anyone got any recommendations? Can anyone recommend places to stay/go in the Dolomites region?
Cheers:beerjug:

I stayed at the Hotel Olympia in Arabba at the base of the Pordoi pass and the rooms were very posh, the food decent and prices very reasonable. It's a very biker friendly place (full of German and Dutch bikers) and has secure parking, although most folk just left their bikes outside.

The Dolomites are pretty, but the Grossglockner highway is a must and an easy day trip from the Dolomites.

I stayed in Landhaus Jausern in Saalbach and hotel Jonathan outside brixen. Very nice. I recommend half board. The dinners were fantastic.
