Can 2610 Mount Same as BMW Nav?

I have lots of searcing on 2610 mount and powering but not really found what Im looking for.

Im thinking of buying 2610. It seems that a lot of people use a RAM mount on the bar above the clocks.

I would like to mount it in the same position that BMW Nav is mounted (centre of bars).

Is there a mounting solution for this and when mounted in this position does it cover the visibility of the clocks etc?

If it's anything like the Nav and you use a tank-bag you'll be better off with a Migsel mount because the tank-bag will obscure the unit on the cross-bar.

The garmin motorcycle mounting kit along with the BMW mounting kit (71 60 7 682 427) + the special bolts (32 71 7 652 161) you need 4 allow you to place it on the handlebar clamps.

Does anyone know if the 2610 obscures the view of the speedo and displays when mounted in this position?

No problem on the 1200GS. You can also see it with the tankbag fitted - just swivel it up. A very neat solution and if you have a sound device you don't need to mount it in your line of vision anyway. Voice prompts are the way to navigate.
