Its looking like the run to Wales is going to be on the 20th July.

The plan is to leave Newlands at around 06:00 - 06:30. Head across country, staying off the motorways as much as possible. Cross into Wales via the severn bridge and then head up into the Brecons. Find somewhere for lunch. Spend a few hours riding round , then head back stopping for something to eat on the way back.

The plan is open to suggestion, so if anyone has some good routes or places to stop for a bite to eat please fell free to comment :thumb2

It'll be a long day so start earning those brownie points with the misses now. Should be a good day out :clap.

P.S. for those of you wishing to get lucky with a sheep there should be plenty of time before lunch...:D:D

the 20th ? mmm oh ok then, cant fecking wait, might have her indoors on the back:eek:

Hi PJ, not sure yet if i can make it yet. I've done quite few trips there in the past though and you might want to consider blatting up to Oxford on the A34, then enjoying the A44 all the way to Leominster, big eats at the American Diner and then dropping south toward Brecon and cross back over the southern bridge.........just a suggestion :)

big eats at the american diner sounds good eh pj,thanks pinkytiff

Early start

I really fancy doing this but it would mean getting up at about 3:30 or 4:00 in the morning to be at Newlands for a 6am start!:eek:

I suppose it will all depend on what I get up too the night before. :p
