Those that have the Rallye II jacket are more than aware that they are a "cold" jacket.
It is also a known fact that layering is the key to warmth. To overcome this I had been looking at the B*W undergarmets, good stuff and well made, but at what price?
I was in my local Honda dealer the weekend and came across the Knox Cold Killer range. Its windproof, waterproof and breathable, what more do you want?
Plus I was invited to try before you buy, so I did. Yesterday was the first day of my Advanced Bike course, so I wore just a thermal t-shirt and this Cold Killer top under the jacket. But not being totally convinced I had a sweat shirt in the pannier....just in case.
Its a wierd material, its also quite thin and very lightweight, its also features a high neck, ideal.
But did it work?
Of course it did, the only down side is that I have had to buy one no
Priced at around £30 its a well worth addition to the ever increasing wardrobe.
