Me again.

Another bloke at work has a ZZR1200 in his shed, not moved for 2 years, after he had an accident on it. He's taking some photos over the weekend, he said it has fairing damage and two buckled wheels. Hopefully he'll have more details tomorrow, price, miles, etc.

streetfighter anyone?

2003, 12,800 miles, he has no idea of it's value, nor do I.

Thoughts anyone?

wheels £100 ebay
battery £60
Fairing £80
mirror £ 30
silencer £50
fottrest and hanger £30

other bits no doubt, such as gear change linkage

with two buckled wheels he must have hit something solid, I'd be concerned of damage to
frame damage (maybe a twist),
yoke,
suspension,
swing arm mounts,



and 80 for fairing seems cheap ? what about the fairing mounts ?

A 25mph off apparently, I've looked at the price of the mounting brackets,it's also only one side of the fairing. I've yet to see the bike in the flesh. I also have to ask him what category insurance write off it is or might not have been. he was paid out for it, but bought the bike back from the insurance company.
