A couple of weeks in sunny Spain

At the end of July my wife and I are sailing to Santander to begin a couple of weeks in Spain before going to the 2CV World Meeting in Aragon. She doesn't want to spend every day travelling in our noisy little car so wondered where might be good places to visit. I've heard about the Picos de Europa which is not far from Santander, but what about Burgos, Valladolid, then on to Madrid, before driving east to Valencia then taking the coastal road north towards Tarragona? The World Meeting is going to take place on the racing circuit at Alcaniz not far from Zaragoza. Thanks.

Don't know that part of Spain well but I do know that Zaragoza is well worth a visit

Thanks Greg, we've been to Barcelona a few times but Toledo and Segovia look good, and we shall be going to Madrid anyway and they are close by.

Tarragonna is worth a looksee too.
I have a place on the Ebro about an hour from Alcaniz and its a beautiful area but you need wheels to appreciate it...for a day trip, check out Mequinenza to the North of Alcaniz
