Morning all. Whilst teaching the other day the clutch lever on the r1100rt decided to snap clean in half at the engine end. After a 60 mile run through town with no clutch I managed to return to base. A new stainless part was ordered, can it be fitted without pulling the whole bike apart?

I believe the answer is yes.......but it will be fiddly, I believe the official method is to drop the back wheel and paralever, and exhaust muffler.

Its possible, managed to get the bolt back in without removing the paralever, it involves 2 people and soldering wire!
