X head cylinder protectors GS LC better than BMW option?

Yes, I have these fitted, well made and a good fit to the heads.
i use them in conjunction with the BMW bars, and they have worked very well! on their own, i suspect they might work better than the BMW crash bars in low speed drops. The BMW bars flex and allow the cylinder head to score on the tarmac.

I've tried them in anger on my RT and highly rate them, went down at low speed dodging a car on the wrong side of the road and got some scuffs on the X-Head but picked the RT up, dusted it off and carried on, not a mark anywhere else not the bike.
