Myrtle Bank Guest House is great in Fort William with stunning views over the water, bike parking and lovely rooms.
Friendly too.

When we were there, we rode out to Mallaig but couldn't all get on the ferry, so we headed back and took a right on the A861.
Amazing roads around there- you probably won;t find a bad one.
Watch out for suicidal deer....
Mid May?? You might be lucky and not see one.
Agreed - if you're stopping for a bite to eat in Tyndrum, head for the Real Food Café which is across, and just down the road from the Green Welly.
One of my favourite bits of road up that way is the A85 going west from Tyndrum to Connel. Amazing surface, relatively little traffic and twisties galore.
Here's a wee clip of the road (taken from a mates bike) from FW to Mallaig ridden a few years back...watching it I want to go back over again!!
My daily commute. Not as much fun in a Foot of snow tho.
