Right. New battery fitted. Really impressed by the weight difference. More than 2kg! Though I'm not so sure I'll notice. Also a big space saving, which demanded a little thought on how to take it up. Used neoprene sheet, 15mm.
First start up was a difference. Very noticeable. Nothing lazy about it at all! Time will now be the test. If it can sustain the same performance over some years and all temps...

The battery is taller than the OEM, but a lot narrower. So I've stood it on a piece of the 15mm neoprene and made a double thickness neoprene pad to take up the space between the support bracket and battery. I've also put a piece of the EVA foam on top up add some tension to the whole lot to keep it still.
