You'll maybe want to know that you can get a dummy battery and wire that to the bike power. I use this arrangement and just stick the A80 in my pocket which works fine but that's not what you want to do...
I've seen the radios mounted in boxes attached to panniers, in the space where the toolkit goes, in RAM mounted Aquaboxes, in handlebar mounted otterboxes, you've got a lot of options.
You can also unscrew the arial and get a remote arial lead...
Dave - I just re-read your thread. If your Autocom is in the fuse box, why not mount your A80 on top of the air filter using the same technique I have for the IntaRide hub?
