This looks as though it is going to be a sleepless night.
Here are (hopefully) five pictures from today's Borders run.
I'll add more later if this works.

See you got the hang of it then

DrKen said:Yes to that, I'm sorry I missed it, it looks like people had a great time. I had a fine time in Szczecin but on balance I think a day out with a bunch of tossers might have been more fun.

I have an urge to try some of the little 'white' roads in the Kintyre peninsular. That requires an early start though (no problem for me, I am often on the road at 03:00 - heading to events in the warm South).

Put on the kettle and have a wee read
Packer said:I'm certainly up for another trip. White roads as in map white yes but I really don't fancy unknown snowy roads with an 1150 and an overweight unfit rider, i.e. me! (l suppose that I should do something about me and enjoy my riding more.)
What about the area South Of Argyll Forest Park. You can catch the ferry from Gourock/Greenock to Hunters Quay/Dunoon. It's a great area west towards Loch Fyne. I don't have OS maps of the area so don't know what minor routes are there.
Voyager said:Right then Dr Ken - Where would you like to go, and when ?
I think this is the cue for a new thread.
If we start spinning one, others will hopefully join in.
Thermos' at the ready and Heated Grips on "Stun" Mr Spock !
Voyager said:I was thinking of meeting up at the "Green Welly" at Tyndrum at 08:30 (when the coffee is available), then going west along the A85 to Loch Awe. Left down the A819, then right along the "dotted yellow B840" on the East/South side of the Loch.
We can then return along the North/West side of the Loch and detour to Kilmelford and onto the A816 in search of food. The return run could be via a different route.
