Langdale Quest Plan B

At this point I feel I should say NO-ONE fell off and no gear levers were broken or exhausts flattened :toungincheek

So this is not your bike :augie

Golly Gosh,WOW,errrrrrrrrrrr who's is that?:mmmm

thanks

Just like to say a big thanks to Nigel & Karnevil for a fantatic day out.

Well organised and some brill trails. And very decent company to ride out with and a pleasure to meet you all.

I'm glad I fell into the puddle before the camera's arrived !! and I finally took my glove and boots off at 630pm.

Yep, I'd like to thank everyone as well. Such a good day out, really looking for to the next one. I think I've found a new hobbie!

I am trying to download some of the video I took, will post as soon as I have sussed what the gremlins are. I don't know yet if I caught on film the crushed exhaust and broken gear lever that didn't happen.

And what a shame I wasn't there for the swim that Asif took!

Craig - if you ever fancy another blast along some of those lanes let me know :thumb2

Thanks to Karnevil I have been able to extract some video, the quality is absolutely carp but at least is gives an essense of the trickier parts of the day.

No names have been attached so riders remain anonomous!

How did you do that please Mark?

Great Time

Only just found the time to post;
Many thanks to Karnevil for conceiving the weekend and Nigel for planning the ride at the 11th hour. I had a fantastic time, thanks to a great set of lads. Those who are looking in and thinking should they have gone, YES you should. BRILLIANT TIME super group. ( Ididn't know anyone before the event)
Thanks to Sue who added the girlie touch. (Nigel's partner). Sorry had no photos, but thanks to those who had. Where, when next?
John.

Spurn Point

Yes I went to Spurn point, via Hornsea where I ate sandwiches which I made Friday and Sue had kept in the fridge. Then down to Spurn, paid the £3 and rode to the end within 400yds.(The track/road had one -two inches of covering of sand and remebered KTMMARK saying power on in sand to give direction dont close the throtle, worked well, Ta. ) Fantastic, there was no wind, wall to wall sun and very warm, took of bike gear and replaced with shorts and trainers and walked round the point followed by tea and coke at the centre and left for home 5.15pm arrived back 7.15. Missed the company but a good end to a great weekend. Felt I had been away for 5 days.
John

Blow Job

Karnevil- You know that BLOW JOB you promised you'd arrange, let us know how it goes. Will you do it yourself or will you get help, a full service would be far safer.

Yep will do it myself. If air and heat wont work I will freeze it out:eek:

Dont understand what you mean about full service tho?
