centre stand dimension

Does anyone know if there are centre stands of different heights. I have used centre stands on a daily basis with previous bikes, but I'm finding the GS very difficult to get on the stand unless I place plywood under the rear wheel - and this with height assist activated with gearbox in neutral...

Hi all, would someone be able to tell me the dimension from the foot of the centre stand to the stand axle for a 2002 R1150GS? The previous owner lowered the bike and shortened the centre stand. I plan to extend it again and discard the 2x4 block that is currently keeping my rear wheel off...
