gps mount

Good evening, Ive recently purchased a 1999 1100, I have attached a Quad lock to the bars in the centre where between the clamps. However with the brace bar on the 1100 bars it cuts off some of my screen. Is there any other mounts/ places people have mounted thier GPS mounts or phones ?. If...

Has anyone successfully put a 340 on the bar above the instruments? I dont want to stump up for a new Sat Nav so all help will be apprreciated. The mounting plate does not fit on the supplied blak plastic mount plus it cant be easily adapted. Help would be appreciated! Thanks.:thumb
