leaks

Hi - just fitted a Remus can to my 2017 R1200GS and no matter what I do there is a small gas leak at the bottom of the joint. Tried re-fitting it umpteen times but still apparent - even stripped a clamp by trying to (over) tighten it. Am I being OCD or is a small leak normal/acceptable? The fit...
