£150 GPS Bargain ?? Lousy Shippers

Gentleman a warning, it seems that these guys just ship kit on a totally ad hoc basis.
I Know 3 people who ordered after me and have been emailed delivery dates so only order if you dont give a damn when the kit comes.

So has anyone got any suggestions for an alternative to SPIII at reasonable cost or a system that runs on an M500 PDA phone covering Ireland, UK and Europe??
Ive got Tom Tom software however Ireland doesnt exist for them!!!

Gets even worse..........Called dispatch "your goods will be shipped tyoday or tommorrow" Oh I think maybe Ive been hasty its a simplw misunderstanding.

Two hours later call from another bloke goods will be two to three weeks again!!!

Well what a bunch of planks!!!

I owned my own company for three years and would never have treated people so shoddilly 0/10 customer service, 0/10 for information if this is typical service then I would suggest you give them a wide berth!!!

Although it is of no help to you, I had excellent service from them. I ordered my sp 111 and it was posted out the next day, and received the day after that. The RAM mount followed a few days later. My experience was completely the opposite.

Yer there normally a nice dealership and they are always happy to try and help you. It may be a case that garmin may have screwed them over with shipping times. It has happened before with lots of companies with goods not just gps.

Hope all goes well though when you do get your gps.

As has already been said no help to you but I received mine within 24 hours of placing my order. The ram mount arriving soon afterwards.
I hope your problem is sorted soon.

If you look on ebay, Pentagon.gps.system shop seems to be selling off a job lot. You could give them a call and have a chat about price and delivery IMHO YMMV.

BTW post #6 was one of mine, but had a link in that I shouldn't have put in Cheers Fanum for the quick response
