£40.35 to fill the tank this morning....

It may be small, it may be a shopping trolley, it may be a girl's car, but at 68.5mpg I'm laughing.
I think "rollerskate" is the word your looking for :D

Anyway, I'm looking for a Skoda Fabia estate diesel.... anyone want to buy a nice Galaxy?

I hope that was an Adventure not a standard GS! :D

No, that's not until next months escalator rises.

Got £75 in the car today, it was £65 max less than 6 months ago, good job everyones getting huge payrises these days to help cover it...

Oh, just checked an I was earning more 5 years ago, with a lower mortgage, smaller council tax bills and everything else being a damn sight cheaper :blast

£82 to fill up the company mondeo.....glad it's the company's money cos I couldn't afford to run it myself. :(

However, filled the bike pre increase, so I have a full tank of cheap (ish) fuel...salary increase this year gives me 1 full tank per month @ the new fuel prices....can I get an amen???????:bow

Nuff said then

Good to see your catching up in the south.

My 12gsa used to cost that to fill it up here and I got rid of it 2 years ago :eek

£37.60 to fill the 2008 GSA this morning, IIRC my old 2004 Vanilla 1200 never cost me more than £19 to brim when I owned it.

Thankfully I run a company car with fuel card, although my personal mileage cost is now up by a penny a mile (plus the £3300 taken off my tax allowance for the privilege).

Over here in guernsey I could fill my virtual ( I say virtual as I havent bought one YET) for about £35 from empty.

wot the **** did u expect when the tory's got in - just watch it get dearer and dearer - unless of course you voted for these bastards !!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed. I always loved the way NuLab never filled their snouts with fuel tax. They never increased it w-a-y over the level of inflation. They didn't ramp up the number of cameras and increase parking taxes by more than 500% in the time they were in power. And imagine if they'd ever seriously thought about a national road charging scheme or a workplace parking tax!

No, Labour were the driver's friend.

Just what we need, another Tory bashing socialist who wants everything given away free at somebody else's expense but themselves. :blast

I've always just stuck 20 quids worth in, so the price per gallon don't affect me....simples!

I had a Honda Bros about 10 years ago, another one about 4 because it was such a great little bike. Anyway, my first bike took a fiver to fill the tank, the second one took a tenner. It's certainly getting worse now but it's been getting increasingly bad for years.
And Pukmeister... sad. Very sad.
