C'mon guys, that's a fair price!
But you could buy my Mandarin 2000 W reg with ABS and 28,0000 miles for £6000.......bargain!
Seriously thouugh, I bought my bike two years ago with only 10k on the clock privately for £6k.
Personally I think some dealers are on hard drugs. Especially the ones in Edinburgh. They overprice their secondhand bikes so much that they sit with the same stock for months. I guess the benefit of this is that they sell more new bikes because there's next to no difference between the price of a new un and a three year old!
Get a mate who knows what he's looking at to go with you if you're not comfortable buying privately. I'm sure most from this forum would help you out if you don't know anyone. IMHO buying from a dealer is not worth the extra expense unless you can't find what you want privately. Their warranties really aint up to much and its a GS so it doesn't really carry the same risk as a Ducati.
