Wanted “Barnfind” Suzuki s/j samurai

I know these are expensive these days. This one looks standard. No idea if it’s cheap, but it seems it compared to others.
Logistics of getting in from NI would need factoring in.
You may be after more of a project.

That’s a jimny,
I don’t want a jimny😆
I want an sj

I knew a bloke who loved his SJ's so much but they were all modified for competitions. He loved them so much he (or his wife) bought and imported an LJ80 to keep as a minter.

Might be worth having a chat with a company that import used cars from Japan.
I’m not looking to spend top dollar on a minter.
The import costs alone will probably be more than my preferred budget😆
I’d prefer something that’s been in dry storage for years.
Needing mechanical resto rather than shit loads of welding.
I realise I’m after the unicorn,but you never know😎

I bought a new 'last of the old' models...be 8 years old this year and only 15,000 miles on her !! Great cars.
Me too...one of the last SZ4 Jimnys bought new 2016...still using it...mine has 131,000 on the clock...perfect for on a small (ish) island (y) £14k new...a bargain...

Had this a couple of years, now registered as Historic, spotlights gone and running much as it should, no rust on the chassis and not a huge amount elsewhere. Spares seem plentiful from India.
A lot of fun but very underpowered in standard form.
Good luck with your search,
