I got the same box just this week, it suceeds in making the 1150 look more modern.

Used to have the E52 on my RT but the E55 is much better made and bigger of course. Swallows up my 4 man Vango, sleeping bag, air bed, stove and lots of ods and ends.

Best box on the market

Pannier Frames

Hi
I'm planning on making some panniers soon but don't have facilities to make a frame to mount them on.
What options are there?

What others are there?

Redcap (Roger) who makes Ard Cases panniers stocks Holan frames.

Fair! I've got a good welder, but a good pipe bender is a different kettle o' fish.

im only in stratford and i have a fabrication shop ......all except a pipe bender if you need anything. I looked at making some frames myself but got some cheap metal mule ones off fleabay but you can but the 'hoops from touratech and then just copy my brackets. If you can get the hoops i can help you with all the other bits.

BMW Aluminium Pannier question......

Hi Peeps,

Can anybody tell me definitively if the BMW Ali panniers and top box are the same for the 1200 GS/GSA as for the f 800 GS? (I realise that the frames will be different of course...)

Its just that im considering chopping in the 800 for a GSA and want to take my ali panniers with me - the GSA has frames on it already but not boxes....

Short answer: Sorry, panniers won't fit. Top-box is, with some modification, possible.
