Although I have an orange one, yellow is the best, wish they still did it.

Well I already owned the box, so rather than spend another couple hundred quid on a matching tin one, decided to spend it on the trip instead.
But you're right, it looks wank!

But the grey one has a screen from a yellow one so your's is effectively a cross breed

I am not aware of the new BMW colours. The original paint had some damage, then in the showroom I saw a R1200RT with this colour, looked up the number at the internet and here it is.

Aah! Cool! So it's a BMW colour from the R1200RT painted on the F800GS.
Very nice! I'm considering making mine matt-black via wrapping (i.e vinyl decals).
