Looks nice, bit lardy round the back end, front end too come to that matter

I had a good look at that today Micky. Have to agree, love the screen but don't like how tacky the plastic looks on the tank. Plus, its that big, may as well get a 1200!

Yeah .... just about sums it up Mark :thumb

The way that screen is fitted, just a gentle knock is going to break the lower side mounting points for sure

90,000+ and mine still running sweet, no inclination or need to swap :D

It going

Ok I have decided that it has to go to make way for the new CCM so I can race next year so the only question is do I break it down and sell it or sell it as it is including panniers and everything else.

:rob You will miss it ... :blast

It Is such a good example and I know how well you look after it :thumb

But to get the most value generally It's a strip down for all those goodies that most want, unless of course some one snaps your arm off with it being done so well and all :clap

Depends how much time you have, breaking it down and selling of the farkles will make you more money. However selling it off as one job lot makes it easier.

maybe work out a price as is with everything on and put it up in the for sale section and see what happens?

Also work out how much you think you could get for each farkle and just give it a think.

I was thinking of going to change to a 1200GS and decided I was going to sell the bike without all the farkles on. Definately worth selling them seperately as I got more money for them off the bike!

Couldn't resist following a little track during a trip through the Pennines to the borders a few weeks ago :D

Nice pic fordy, how much wind protection does that screen give?.

Cheers :beerjug:

A little bit more wind protection than it came from the factory as I've put tap washers behind the top two fixings to tilt it forward a bit. That raised the uncomfortable blast on the top of my shoulders to wind in my face which I quite like until it gets really blowy out there.

I tried a Puig screen which gave a little bit more protection but it fouled the Barkbusters so I prefer the pennymod.

Probably just pasted the wrong code.

I use photo bucket also, click on your picture in the Library, then on the right you want the bottom code IMG, left click (in this box) auto copies this.

Then paste to your post. :beerjug:

Here's one for while people are waiting. :D
