Indeed she doesn't look to bad after all the years riding I have done. Its my only form of transport so has been through the worst that the UK weather can throw at it.

My bike has on the whole been very reliable and Has never let me down. It has never had any major failures. The only warranty work that has been carried out is a replacement sump due to paint pealing off and some longer bolts on the front brake disk.

The only thing that has not lived up to my expectations is the quality of the paint on allot of the parts.

Whilst I don't look after my bike as well as I should do I am shocked at how much paint has come of the front forks and engine. Such a shame because if they could get a better quality of finish for me the 650GS would be the best bike for me.

It would be interesting if they have improved things with later models and the F700GS.

Thanks :D :beerjug:

The Pill box is at Rettendon, Essex on the old A130 (there are a few)

Just across the field's from the Range rover Murders, where "The Essex Boys" got both Barells and then some more :rocketwho :mcgun :eek

Cool, I shall have to find it sometime, easy to get too?

Micky...tell us more . The Triumph has a heck of a smooth engine, do you miss it ? I also thought the Triumph was very sweet handling and oh so stable in a straight one too.
The Triumph has a great adjustable seat and a better engine sound. What do you make of the GSA so far ? Just curious!

Today I washed the bike and gave her the usual weekly bike checks!

I also fitted a beak extension. I had wanted one for a while as I like the look of them I also wanted to cover a few marks up.

The chip on the tip was received after a car deliberately reversed over me and the beak punched through the bumper. The scratch in the side was caused by s fence post.

With the beak fitted it covers both marks and goes very well with the mirage 2 fairing! In the photo beak is not properly fitted as have yet to drill the holes for the bolts at the back.
