I'm just probing the what if at the moment ....
I usualy adjust the rear spring load at its highest setting and when I sit on the bike with my weight I get a fair amount of sag as the spring is rated for a certain weight rayio
so i'm exploring the advantages of fitting a rear shock taylor made for my weight one suspension specialists is sugesting an increased shock height of 9mm which will give a 3 to 1 ratio of 27mm increased seat height! another is sugesting uprating the rear ohlin to suit my 96.6 kg of weight. the front forks uprated will compliment the rear and will have less dive characteristics.
also....
They say:" Öhlins the world’s-leading performance suspension components for motor vehicles, from two to four wheels. aparently I will notice a vast improvement and more positive feel from the bike.
so i just thought I would post it here to see if anyone can offer any feed back of fitting the ohlin front and rear to specificaly the F800, F650 and hear there personal view
