'01 F650GS Dakar - Aftermarket bars?

Hi guys.

Picked up my new Dakar yesterday. Great fun, but I don't love the angle of the bars. My wrists were turned in and really uncomfortable. (I'm used to riding a KTM with off-road bars). I'm hoping to get hold of something straighter and more enduro - any ideas?

I have heated grips too, so the bars will need to fit those.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I had one a few years ago and changed to Renthal bars.

Search this section and you'll get some ideas.
I used a piece which Migsel made to fit into the end of the bars which accomodated the heated grip wiring, but I'm sure you could codge something using the ends of the standard bars or even fitting after market heated grips.

Yes please, that would be absolutely fantastic.

Bought a set of Renthals today, so looking at going down that route.

Home made ones. Touratech, at the time, used to make 35mm ones and they were too short for me so i made some 45mm high ones.

The set they sell for the 28mm Bars are 60mm high. But never went down that route as I grafted a KTM adventure front end to it.
