05 ?Remus headers on a Twin Cam GSA

I've acquired a set of Remus (I think) headers off a mate. They came off his 2005 GS.

Now I realised they wouldn't fit without modification or ditching the flappy valve and fitting a pre twin cam silencer, but I've now got a sneaking suspicion that the early headers were a different size all together.

Can anyone substantiate that?

Yep, got that thanks. But will an exhaust system off a 2005 bike actually fit a 2012 twin cam (after removing the valve). I know they do from 2008 as people have done it on here.

As long as you use the whole system or a pre-TC silencer as well.

Great. I thought that was the case but I'd read on here that the early 1200's were slightly different but couldn't find the thread.
