does any one new if a factory bmw alarm can be moved from a 06 gs to a 12 plate gs , both bikes are 1200 gs, cheers richard

I know you can't if the later bike has tyre pressure monitors.
A single module is used for both these functions (presumable so TPMS could be added more easily when it was introduced). I didn't really believe that could be the case when I was first looking at doing same as you (give or take a year on the bikes - 2005 to 2011), but it is clear frm my gs911 that the tpms and alarm functions are part of the same module.
