06 gs 1200 running problems

hi everybody could somebody help me out ? I have a 2006 gs1200 she gets very noisy (rattle ) runs sluggish and pops through exhaust when engine is under load but runs fine at low revs and sounds perfect when reving .Any body had this problem and what sorted it out thanks

Tell us a bit about the bike? Miles, service history,does it differ from standard?eg exhaust

I had a big problem with the Stick coils on the central spark plugs. They were fine on tick over and full throttle but at low speed and under acceleration popped and banged with very low performance. You can check for local spark erosion in the spark plug tunnel but I found substitution was the only real check, fine if you have access to a few other owners plug caps but not so easy if you are alone. Try swapping plug coil left to right to see if you notice any difference.
