I'm pretty sure they don't mate. I think there for single cam models only you would want the WESA model to carry on using your ESA function

if yours is not an ESA GS, or you remove the ESA servo gubbins, they will fit, but will raise the bike making the stands short.

The manufacturer changed after the 2011 Tsunami but non ESA shocks will fit any bike. ESA systems changed when BMW went to WP and are not compatible with the Showa systems.

The standard ESA is nice to have but the damping differences are not remarkable. The Wibers ESA is gives much more of a damping range so "Comfort" really does feel soft and "Sport" is reassuringly firm rather than hard/harsh.

Off topic I just wish BMW had made the ESA ride height change on the fly so short legged riders could drop the bike down for town use and when stopping without a kerb to step onto.

I have just measured the rear and it is approx 400mm from the center of the eyelet to center of eyelet and the front is approx 380mm from the top of the bolt to the eyelet, is this std gs adv length? I get the feeling they have been lowered a bit

Thanks for all comments gentlemen.
As they are std GS length have bought em !! Cheers Ian B
