Power Commander, new BM heated grips, Givi plate(box to go with it) BM tank bag, Metal Mules, Garmin V, Race can (The BM anchor weigh jobbie to go with it), Lith Iron battery, MOT'd 'til April. Not a garage Queen! Bought off here, I have had it two years.

It was largely serviced by the site's Rag & Bone man.

Needs nothing, just changed the oil, it uses no oil.

It is on EBay(for the same start price) too, pics of the service history on there...

A solid road warrior...

I know them well. I'd happily buy one with twice that mileage on the motor.

Clutch can last 150,000 miles easily. Shaft might need checking/replacing.

The accessories are worth a grand a lone. If I needed one, i'd be having it. Bargain.

The shaft was checked when the drive was done( £1100+) Grips ( £200+), Metal Mules/ frames(£1100) 20 years ago when I bought them. The wire wheels have not done many miles, I used them on my (from new '04 GS) for a year or so, they were new, prior to that..

Thanks for the remarks..

Illustration of service history...

Best to stick yer location in as well as the 1st Google maps UK Valhalla is a tattoo shop in Bromley...😄 Love the scottoiler sticker ...😆

Well Boys! I think we have to accept that these Ultimate Riding Machines are worthless in sale terms as time passes..

Most riders want stuff to show in the pub or to their mates..

What happened to real motorcycle riding enthusiasts about in the 70's and 80's.

I will keep it... As a reserve. A Ford Escort 1.3 l is worth a fortune. Maybe over complexity is the killer.

Comment, over...

:clap

Put it on eBay. It will sell for £3500. Maybe more.
This forum is a limited market.

Last week I did a major service for a guy who paid £3000 for almost the same bike. But with 101,000 miles. Ridden In all weathers. It was a total nail. Rotten. And had never been properly serviced as it was owned by a DIY hacker who used it as a workhorse. Literally.

It needed another grand throwing at it.

Preserve.

The bike market is very poor and has been for some time.

People are holding onto what they have.

As mentioned. EBay is the widest audience.

I had you marked as a possible if my 11gs crapped itself on the way to Cornwall... Went very close to you too .. like your bike though, my well worn 11 refused to give in so making yours and a handful of others unnecessary...👍 Good buy, good looking bike but like you say, riding has changed and selling the well used stuff was hard and is now even harder ..

It is partly the PCP schemes.. Which seduce and then flood the market with quite new bikes that seemingly are bargains, maybe they are... Especially to the service Depts.

In addition, our economy is fooked ( Brexit, Covid and Ukraine) and will only get worse as we pump money into arms/military with the whole of Europe, manipulated by the Warmongering USA and Isrealis.

Most of the money goes to the USA. The barstars are ruining our beloved motorcycling culture... :confused2:
