I orginally had a Reyno grill on my '07 1200GSA but when Les put in the HID50s x4, the Reyno grill wouldn't go back on as it was blocked by the frame holding the HID units.

Does anyone else make a grill that will fit? any experiences welcome.

Hi Jeremy - I have that arrangement too - I found it pushes the HID bracket down a tad so its not at 90 deg - but its done a few thou now with no problem.

I should have the same set (HID50, Les Bracket, under a 08 Reyno Grill) installed by Les next week on my 08 GS.. (well, if I get my NM order on time), I also have my old "before 08" radiator grill from Wunderlich, I wonder which one will fit right with Les bracket.

Let me know if that fits.

The one from Rugged Roads will fit.

I have the Rugged Roads Grill (very nice in black) for a 2006 ADV and Les’s Full HID kit, and had to spend some time filing the bracket supplied by Les to get it all to fit.

Fantastic feedback lads, new black rugged road grill ordered!

Jeremy, i was unaware of this, i will speak to Les and effect a cure.

Cheers

Brian.

I was sorry to see it go but a fellow Tosser on the site bought it. The bike just isn't the same without it.

Les will work on my set (HID50+Reyno Grill on a 08GS) next friday, he has asked me to come with a set of tools (he is away from home), including a small hacksaw

I am sure he will know everything about what has to be done after "hacking" my grill :)

Les is on holiday this week.

I accidentally disturbed him because I had the same problem fitting my 07 Reyno grill on my 08 bike with his HID kit.

Solved the problem simply by cutting about 5mm off the length of the screws. Then used a small amount of locktite to make sure they don't work loose.

Viola! Problem solved!:thumb2
