08 1200gsa back to a 1200 lt

Have had the 1200gsa for a year now and im not sure about this bike.had a 1200LT 04 before it and 3 years of trouble free biking..but the gsa looks the part but feels like it could break easy...not solid and to many plastic bits...will look out to px back to an LT in the new year.

Well good for you and hope you and the "Light Truck" will be very happy

Surely, it's a totally different bike though and if you are a fan of the LT, you may struggle with the GS if you do a straight comparison

My 1200GS-A has been through the mill a few times and has proved to be bomb proof in it's 50,000 miles.

I had a light truck before my GSA. You can really scare yourself on the LT forum with the tales of woe, even worse than on here.

For the record mine ran like clockwork, I just got fed up with the weight and manouverability in traffic. Otherwise ace bike.

I would dare to venture that the LT has a least 4 times the amount of plastic attached to it than does the GS.
