08 650 and 800 Breakdowns list

the hole in the pipes are from flying rocks on Mongolian desert. the cover on right pipe is piece form TT, originally made for 1150 / 1200 GS pipe protection. Before mongolian trip, there was no other choice, i had to improvize - F800 was too new to buy aftermarket stuff...

Tash's has had an ignition barrel at 1500 miles as the bike would not turn off

Hi Jarax! Mind if I ask you where you got that fancy looking downpipe protector (the ones from Wunderlich are a disgrace, they are)?

Adventure spec have a version of their own.

Dont know how this compares to the Wunderlich.
