I rode up to the Yorkshire do on Thursday of last week.
Rode about 60 miles on Friday and about 220 on Saturday.
Riding back today I'd rode about 180 miles and was slowing for a roundabout when the Brake Failure light come on....
Odd I think, try the brakes, and the light goes off again.
100 yards later and everything goes off, and the bike seems to reboot.
I coast to a halt, but by the time I've come to a stop the bike electrics have come back on and started up again without bother.
Off we went, and a couple of miles later it all happened again.
By this time we were only 10 miles from home, and managed to get there but we went through the reboot experience four times.
Got home and called BMW Assist. They tell me there will be a Tech with me within an hour.
They then called me and said that there wouldn't be a Tech today
So, Tech has been pre-booked for tomorrow.
Any experience of this kind of fault?
