I think I’ve got a clutch/clutch lever problem. I’ve moved the adjustment of the clutch lever to maximum reach. When I’m riding I’ll shift (down or up) and there’s a good degree of resistance on the lever. Without anything apparently changing, the next shift meets little/no resistance on the lever and the bite point is now with the lever pulled almost fully in.

I use two fingers on both clutch and brake, leaving the outer two fingers on each hand (furthest from thumb) on the grip. When the clutch offers no resistance – and I have my two outer fingers on the grip – its not sufficient to pull the clutch ‘all the way in’ ie – the bike will stall at standstill.

At first I thought the little bezel thingie that adjusts the reach had simple come loose with vibration and moved – but this doesn’t seem to make any difference……

Any suggestions ? Its got its 600mile service on Wednesday but thought I'd open it up for comments from you guys.

Cheers
Chris
