Don't shoot me down with "I ride to be alone with my thoughts" buzz, but is there anybody bringing or using radios on the jaunt?

Never done a trip of this magnitude before, so don't know how it'll work, if there could be any separations etc.

Probably get a pay as you go phone for duration, not that I'd be accepting any calls re: work of course

Any thoughts? Any need etc..

Don't think so Lloyd.

It may well be that some of the group may split off every now and again if there's something or someone they want to visit on or near the route then join up with the main group again. I might go visit Jim Beam meself.

not me, after a week, I can't the sound of my own voice in my head so one of you lot nattering at me is gonna get an icey stare.....

I'll have a US cell phone in any case so if anyone gets lost, they can call me. Whether I answer it or not is another question....


You can get a cheap pay as you go from wallmart (other stores are available) for around $20 if anyone needs a phone

Anyway, I'll be just looking at the stunning scenery
