1100/1150 GS TANK ON AIRHEAD?!?!?!
Has anyone attempted or looked into the above?
Is it possible at all?
Without access to one I woill have to buy the tank before I attempt the MOD, just wondered if it had crossed anyone elses mind?!?!?!?
:D

Laying out £700 of mt hard earned for a touratech tank makes my wallet shiver in my pocket... and if it could be done and work, it would be a tough reliable, big bastard tank that could probably outlast seat comfort.

In the same way I could buy a touratech sumpguard, but my Mk3 is mine, cost nothing and looks good!

Oh I get ya you're thinking of fitting a 30 litre adventure tank to your airhead? Instead of getting reamed for Touratech's 43 litre jobbie which has no more usable range than the airhead PD's own 35 litre tank.

Hmm I think I know I'd rather be looking for one of them unless you've already found the ADV tank, they never come up at less than £350 unless damaged and I'd imagine a real ball ache to make fit.

Whereas PD tank won't cost much more than that NEW then its paint/stickers etc... :nenau

Thats true, and there is a PD one that I have my eye on at the moment, but have you ever seen a ADV tank on an airhead?!?!?!
:D
Just thought it would look good, save a few pennies, be a project aswell as increasing my pitiful tank range.
:bounce1

I reckon the oilhead tank splays too much to look neat, you might get urchins sheltering under there in rainy weather.
