Probably should be posted elsewhere but here`s a couple of pics of my 58,000 mile 1100 which I shipped to Baltimore USA yesterday for a bit of action.

Trans America Trail Aug 08
Baja Mexico - Jan 09
Alaska - June 09
Sth America - Jan 10

Got a few essential goodies to bring it to more of an ADV spec:

Hyperpro Shocks
Braided lines
Vern Panniers
B-Art beak
MRA screen
Remus exhaust
Various Touratech bits
Reconditioned gearbox by SCD

Anything I`ve forgotten??? (Didn`t want the 41 litre tank)

Definately not a showroom bike but reckon she`ll eat the planned routes!

The bikes looks like a proper Adv bike now Sarge

I really hope that I can tag along with one your trips in the future :beerjug:

Thats a superb 1100... I have one myself in the same colour... Enjoy the adventures

Can see from the pictures that you have the steering stop hardpart But have you got the footpeg one that protects the gearbox if you have a tumble?

Might be talking out my arse `cos my bikes a GSA but heard about this possible vulnerable bit on the 1100.

Just trying to help .... ;)

head lamp protector?oilcooler?Lovely bike,is that a grand prix with cat on there?Little bit of subtle welding on rear sub frame can head hassle off at the pass.Have a good time
