Yup........buy a 1200 :eek::augie:D

Motorworks don't list it as a used part right now (LINKY) but give them a call on 0845 458 0077 and ask them.....I'm pretty sure they'll have some in.

Thye other site you'll probably want to bookmark is REAL OEM which is where you can find the original part numbers for pretty much any part :thumb2

Ignore delboy btw, he seems to be an insecure .i. :)

EDIT......the page you probably need looks like it's THIS ONE

cheers fanum but am I not right in saying that the clocks are not connected to the screen?if so why would the clocks be shaking.just a thought

No idea I'm afraid.....I've got an 1150.

Follow the mountings back though.......there will probably be something broken or loose....the screen bit sounds like a red herring from what you just posted.

On my 1150, there's a subframe that the instruments mount on to .....on my old one, that had broken at one end and that caused the instruments to vibrate off-road.....I've never taken an 11 apart to see though.

I'd start by undoing the instruments and have a dig around....the 11xxs are just big mechano sets so it shouldn't be too hard to dissassemble to the point where you can find something broken or loose.

Steptoe might know what it's likely to be off the top of his head though......hopefully he'll see this and post, or PM him :thumb

EDIT....there's a 'FAIRING BRACKET' which I presume the instruments mount into, then another set of parts that (again, just guessing) look like they match up to that frame, then the instruments mounting in it?

Remove the screen and headlight. You'll then be able to check if the nuts that secure the clocks/instrument unit are all still in place.

cheers Steptoe.alls seems good mate behind the screen,could excessively out of sync throttle bodies cause this?i,ve never seen clocks shake like this before.its like riding a buell on speed.

There's that little hinged ball and socket brace under the clocks... Mine came adrift a while back and that made the clocks bounce around like a good-un. It's part of the headlamp assembly and easily missed.
