Hello, does anyone know or can measure the dimensions of the dashboard switches of a 1100GS ?

I'm currently collecting parts for a "scrambler on a budget" conversion of my '02 1150GSA and found a used dash casing of a 1100. It's an empty shell, so wondering if I can put these (Standard size mounting hole: 1.41"(36mm) x .86"(22mm)) in the three available slots... Everything else will be bolt-on from the 1150.

Thanks :beerjug:

By blanks you mean part 13 "Covering cap" here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...9E-BMW-R_1100_GS_94_0404,0409_&diagId=62_0255 ?
If so, I would like to have a switch for aux lights on the dash, the other two slots can be covered or maybe I'll cut them to add 12v sockets.
Just have to wait for the parts to arrive and try !

yes, that's them. You can also get actual "switches" so you can wire them as you prefer. Some even have an on/off light in the switch so you can see it at night and lets you know if it's on/off.

That's what I want to do with those from China, found some OEM ones but not cheap (at all) :D
