Ouch....the first ride out with the better half for a few months has show up that the shocks are shafted (half guessed before now but for the sake of me wallet kinda ignored and adapted). Pretty much got a new set of piles to ice pack!

I Know some peeps (Piggy?) have had some fitted recently and wondered how they were getting on and if any tips could be passed on?

Currently looking at Wilbers from Every Acc but if anyone has a better suggestion please i am all ears.

Riding is mainly commuting with occasional brain out blasts and some 2 up work...so looking for jack of all trades shocks.

whoops...just noticed that should have been Pigglet...sorry...really shouldn't post after being on the beer. :o

I've just fitted a set of Wilbers to my 1100 and the bike is transformed. Every Assec are very good and helpful.

I spec'd the heavy springs to allow for me being a fat git (and the wife is no size zero either!) and to allow for carrying too much stuff in my new Metal Mules.

Handling is much improved both two up with luggage and off-roading. Spent all last Friday off roading south of Dartmoor and huge improvement. Front no longer bottoms out and damping is much sharper with no wallowing.

Get them, you won't regret it. :)

Really pleased with mine. The on road handling is transformed, much sharper. The improved action is more noticeable off-road for me when i'm using most of the travel. Before, even with pre-load wound up (i'm only 10st) it felt soft and like it was going to bottom out above 10mph yet harsh on the road. Now I can now carry a lot more speed over the rough stuff, the action is so much plusher and better controlled :thumb2
I've still got my standard front shock at the moment, it's still coping reasonably well with my minimal weight :P
Give them a go, as Sid said, it'll transform your bike :thumb2

Cheers Guys :thumb

Called Every Accesory and ordered a full set today. I'll report once fitted
