Some time ago I went through quite a bit of water on a trip. My bevel drive has a breather on it, so no water got into that housing.
However after coming back I dropped the G/box oil and lo and behold there was what appeared to be traces water in the box, the oil wasn't a black colour as the bevel drive was.
I have thought and looked for some time but cannot seem to locate the G/box breather, does anyone know if there is one and if there is where is it?
I've always assumed that there had to be one, but I could be wrong.
