Hi all
i recently bought some sst bleed nipples for my 1100 from motor works as i wanted to re new the fluid i thought this a good time to fit them.
the side that had the original bleed nipple is fine but the side that had the factory blank in is now weeping from the thread of the new bleed nipple (not from the centre hole i am sure). i have now put the factory blank back in and it seems fine so the threads are still ok .
i wonder has any one else experienced this problem in the past and how can you bleed the caliper with the factory blank in.
Any help would be graet please
many thanks Adam

There's a small grub screw in the top of factory unit.

Unscrew it ( it's just a dust seal, no fluid will leak out), screw your S/S bleed nipple into it, and bleed as normal .

It'll will bleed with the nipple turned fully home, it's the opposite to how you usually bleed from a nipple, as the end of the factory unit is a self sealing spring loaded ball bearing . So when you unscrew your S/S nipple, the fluid wil be cut off, and won't let air in or fluid out.

Sounds a bit more techenical than it actually is.
