What is the exhaust on that silver/yellow one in the last bike pic? Anyone care to enlighten this Gs riding but not watching imbecile please?

And no, they are beagles, and they're slobbering:augie

If one of these silver yellow ones came up, I might be temted to buy it. It looks lovely. Or should I just spray my 1150 Adv in those colours and confuse the hell out of any I-spyers?

Like the look of that exhaust though if ti would fit mine.

What are the differences between 1100 and 1150? I just get on and ride the thing. Occassionally put petrol in the top hole and oil in the bottom ones.

that is a standard 1100 exhaust

main difference is font end design, headlight, different exhaust layout, 50cc more, 6th gear, front forks, rear shock design, slightly differing engine casing parts, and the 1100GD Gs is rare.

hope that helps

Just a tatty old 1150 A. Nowt special, straight off the line as it came, except it didn't have the dings and dents. They were my customisations :augie

Goes OK, cheap to run. Comfy. Light on tyres, light on all expenses really and I can get spanners on the simple items. Don't understand anything to do with electrons or confusers. Photons I can manage, but electrons are mismanaged, badly mismanaged, even where they are used to create photons.....:D

First to see will buy ?

It's sitting in a bike showroom, obviously a few people have seen it.

It is i believe a Kawasaki dealership.. so the throughput of potential buyers would be small... not many would automatically go to a Kwak dealership looking for a GS.

I've got one of those, bought it in 2001 from Rainbow... It's still lots of fun:D
Last year I replaced the final drive, bevel box and swing-arm bearings, as the front gaiter had being leaking, then the driveshaft had washed the grease away!

What makes a bike a GD model - just the colour scheme? Does that make my 850 (same colours) an 850GD? I would post a pic but it's in many bits right now......

its an anniversary colour scheme, your 850 is just the same, apart from it being 850:thumb2
